Piximix self-publishes its books via lulu.com, a site for independent authors to get their works out. They have a paid upgrade option to be listed on Amazon.com, but apparently they choose a few select books and upgrade them for free. They're currently listed under our artists name, Kyle:
While we've always had our books available on our Piximix Store, its great to have them become available to a wider audience.
I'm so excited today; the Pixipets iPhone app we here at Piximix have been working on with Fika was just put up on the iTunes App Store!
We've been waiting a long time for our Pixipets comic to come out as an app and now I can finally load it onto my phone! Its free so if you have an iPhone why not give it a shot? If you like the Pixipets, you should check out the buttons and books we have on the Piximix store ;)
Yes, once again, this Sunday, its time for Capsule SF in beautiful Hayes Valley, now with 100% more pancakes (Hayes Valley that is, not Capsule). Aside from the tasty pancakes at Stacks, Hayes Valley is now bursting with places to eat. So get some brunch and then hit the street fair!
I'll be at the Piximix table (#6 on the map) all day from 11am until 6pm. We've got some new shirts this time around and some framed prints! So stop by, chat, shop, eat, chat, shop, drink, shop, chat! See you there!

Hey everyone, the CapsuleSF design festival is happening this weekend, Sunday May 25th. Its going to be a lot bigger this year and I guarantee that it will be a good time! So, put on your sunscreen, fill your wallet and come check it out. I'll be there with Piximix on Linden Street, near the Blue Bottle coffee kiosk. Come by and see us and I'll give you a free button!
Hey all, Piximix is doing another show this weekend. We'll be at the Chillin' Productions 9th aniversery show at Mezzanine from 8:00pm-2:00am this Saturday, June 2nd. If you've never been to one of these before its definitely worth stopping by. There will be designers of every craft selling a lot of great stuff, plus artists, video and DJs:
- 60 fashion designers
- 80 painters/photographers,
- 60 filmmakers (films will be screened in 3 rooms. 1000 square feet private room, main room and back room)
- Music by: DJ Johanson, DJ Shon(Gossip/cat club, DJ Mei-lwun,(Soulstice UNO Recordings), DJ Laron, Dirtyhertz and Dave Madix
And of course there will be drinks and plenty of interesting people watching. Its $6 at the door and even if you don't buy anything its fun to walk around and look at everything. I'm not sure where we'll be, but come find us!
I'll be there manning the Piximix booth, which if you didn't know, is a company I run with two other partners (who will be at Fanime today for you San Jose folks!). We sell t-shirts, bags, buttons, key chains and books. You might recongnize some of our designs from some of your favorite vox themes (Appley Rotten and Pixipets in the "Branded" section of the theme picker).
So come down and see us in Hayes Valley this afternoon, 11am to 6pm! Grab some Blue Bottle Coffee to start your day, then when you're tired out, have some coffee at Momi Toby's cafe, or lunch/dinner at Frjtz, Flippers Burgers, Patxi Pizza or the many other restaurants in the area. Piximix will be on Linden St. on the same side as Blue Bottle coffee. Stop by and see us!
Next Saturday, April 8th, my company Piximix will be participating in the 8th annual Chillin Productions event at Mezzanine. This event is part fashion, part club; there's DJs, drinks and designers. Its a fun event and definitely more like a party than a sale.
Mark your calendars and come find me at the Piximix table!
